About this role

A strong leader who will direct a multi-disciplinary development team to develop and implement significant improvements to core systems and business processes in support of the company/division's profit, growth, and customer satisfaction goals.

What you will do:

- Manage a multidisciplinary development team.

- Develop and implement significant improvements to core systems and business processes in support of the company- s/divisions profit, growth, and customer satisfaction goals.

- Architect, designing for future scalability Implementing, Unit testing, Integration testing and supporting software applications and services.

- Lead the review and analysis of business requirements to create technical specifications.

- Drive architecture and technical design discussions.

- Direct multiple technology-based projects and staff in support of IT.

- Responsible for the development of strategic and tactical planning of technology and people resources necessary for successful completion of several largescale projects.

- Direct technical activities to Estimate, Plan, Design, Build, Test, and Migrate solutions into production.

- Direct analysis on and shape business requirements to determine technical design.

- Evaluate developers following project completion identifying strengths and areas for development via a formal, written performance appraisal.

What you'll need:

- Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field of software development.

- 10+ years of strong experience in software development

- Strong experience in  Python & Big Data Platforms like Hadoop, Cloudera etc

- Proven track record of implementing NLP & Machine Learning based software applications.

- Ability to solve complex problems using Data Science techniques. Led and mentored teams developing AI based software applications

. Web scraping experience is an added advantage.

- Extensive experience in understanding application performance management and improvement.

- Should come with a strong leadership style & Proven track record of hiring high caliber talent and retention.

- Experience in building & managing applications on Cloud platforms is an added advantage.

- Proven verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with other teams.

- Experience in all phases of a systems development lifecycle.

- Excellent software development and design fundamentals with a strong background in architecture developing ML & AI based applications.
