Business Analyst - Conferences Business Solutions

Gurgaon, India

As the fastest-growing business unit, Gartner Conferences delivers 75+ world class conferences across the globe, attracting over 70,000 attendees and over 2,000 exhibitors each year. The Conferences Business Solutions and Technology team is focused on shaping the future of the technology platforms that are essential for the delivery of our critical programs and efforts.

We- re looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to help define and deliver our conference technology roadmap. In this role, you- ll be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to understand their goals, document the business requirements and drive the execution of that strategy with internal and external development resources. You must have a customer centric focus, technical knowledge deep enough to partner effectively with development resources, and above average communication, facilitation, and persuasion skills.

What you will do:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and business process improvements

- Document detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the busines

- Performing GAP analysis of business rules, business and system process flows

- Streamlining process of reporting system related issues

- Help Product Owner and team write high quality user stories explaining business problems

- Translating business and technology strategies into detailed requirements and deliverables

What you will need:

- 1-3 years of business analysis and project management experience

- Bachelor Degree (Information Technology, Information Management)

- Exceptional problem solving capabilities: Able to solve complex problems, think creatively, and use data to tell a story

- You are passionate about the experience and delivering uncompromising quality

- Self-motivated & accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility

- Excellent verbal and written communicator capable of eliciting client and stakeholder feedback and documenting clear requirements

- Strong organization with time-management skills

- Proven track record of driving continuous product improvements ranging from bug fixes to new features and deliverables

- Action-oriented and driven to achieve results and build trust with both business partners and internal developers

- You must demonstrate a high level of collaboration and strong negotiation skills
