About the role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our fast-growing Algorithms and Data Insights team, where you will work with a group of data scientists and data engineers to drive significant business impact. Our team focuses on client engagement. Engaging clients with the right piece of advice is core to our economics, and data science is one of the most impactful and scalable levers to drive this engagement.

We are looking for a Business Analyst to provide data analytics for the team. The analytical tools you build and the insights you find in data that will inform key business decisions and the direction of the team. You will also lead problem solving efforts on important initiatives involving multiple engineering and business units. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to develop and test machine learning models that can directly effect the client experience. If you are a data enthusiast, interested in machine learning, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment at an established brand, this is the role for you.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

- 1-3 years of relevant industry experience involved in business analytics, reporting and data science

- Working knowledge of two or more of the following - Python, SQL, Macros, Power BI

- Microsoft Office expertise - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

- Working knowledge of some statistical techniques, such as regression, classification, and hypothesis testing.

- Deep analytical thinker with experience in deriving business insights from data analytics

- Detail-oriented with high personal standard for quality and accuracy along with a strategic mindset to interpret and bring out the - so what- from data

- Strong communication and collaboration skills; Be a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill on them in a proactive manner

- Exposure to Lean, Six sigma, process improvement projects would be an added advantage

- Experience, maturity and ability to prioritize and manage workload in order to meet deadlines; proficient in multitasking; Experience working in an international environment calendaring amongst different WW time zones

- Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone

- Bias for action and completion
