About this role:

The India Quant COE is looking to hire a Quantitative Associate and is currently accepting applications. The team leverages proprietary quantitative data and frameworks to offer original, actionable insights to key business problems facing senior executives across industries.

What you- ll do:

Key responsibilities of a Quantitative Associate include the design and development of tools and surveys; collection, organization and basic analysis of data collected from external and internal databases; and automation of procedures and processes involved in the survey projects. This position offers opportunities for personal growth and achievement and, over time, provide personal exposure to many different research areas within Gartner. 

Overall responsibilities include:

- Designing surveys for research projects

- Be responsible for tracking, data collection and maintaining the accuracy and validity of the survey data

- Design and develop excel tools to enable easy data interpretation

- Building benchmark and other standardized data reports for clients with insightful graphics

- Proof reading client-facing reports to ensure high quality and verify accuracy of data

- Coordinating internally with data teams to ensure timely delivery of quality reporting and services to clients

- Conducting basic descriptive analysis to develop insights for research documents

- Helping internal stakeholders use proprietary data for adding new products and services

What you- ll need:

- Bachelor's degree (statistics, economics, maths, other quantitative fields) with 0-2 work experience at a global company with experience on cross-geography teams

- Basic proficiency with statistical concepts

- Possesses basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS and other statistical packages

- Strong English communications skills, including writing, graphics, and oral communication

- Self-driven and can work as a part of geographically-distributed teams

- Excellent project and time management skills

- Ability to develop strong research relationships with research leaders and content experts

- Skilled at working both independently and in a team environment

- The aspiration to constantly learn and improve

- Detail-oriented and strong commitment to high-quality work
