An Associate Principal Analyst aligned with Supply Chain Logistics will conduct research and analysis covering critical issues, solutions and capabilities for multiple industry topics and related technologies/vendors. Delivering advice, and guidance to our research and advisory clients through published research, conversations with clients (Inquiry), teleconferences, and client meetings. In addition, work on a specific area of coverage helping clients develop master services agreements with third party logistics service providers and delivering cost and efficiency improvements through contract reviews
What You'll Do :
- Cover specific topics in the core Supply Chain Logistics . In addition, work on a specific area of coverage helping clients develop master services agreements with third party logistics service providers and delivering cost and efficiency improvements through contract reviews
- Define and conduct research on assigned areas of supply chain logistics operations and create specified volumes of written documentation of research, to set timelines.
- Providing advice to Gartner clients, evaluating and analyzing information and participating in Research Meetings and other primary or secondary research methods which comprise the Gartner research process.
- Produce impactful written analysis for our client constituency. Specialize analysis and advice to logistics specific research as necessary.
- Provide actionable advice over client interactions for your coverage areas via teleconference, video conference or webinar and event presentations.
- Credibility to represent Gartner research methodology, strategies and positions effectively at senior executive level.
- Provide support to the sales organization to renew and develop business. Advice prospective and existing clients via telephone and video-enabled teleconference or at Gartner events. Demonstrate Gartner research value.
- Actively collaborate with peers and contribute to establishing company research positions.
- Engage in clear, effective dialogue on complex concepts, and communicate them with poise.

What You'll Need
Graduate + MBA from leading A & B-schools (BE/B.Tech from Grade A engineering colleges (will be added advantage)
- Subject matter familiarity in the end-to-end manufacturing value chain with specific operational experience in logistics operations management where in the candidate can demonstrate understanding of the business applications and opportunities in those topics.

You must be a lifelong learner with foundational knowledge and experience in helping supply chain leaders to develop themselves, in helping organizations to change and in helping teams to develop the supply chain and/or manufacturing logistics talent needed in the 21st century.
- You will need to be flexible and deal well with ambiguous situations where a client question might not be clear enough and where you will have to apply your knowledge and personal experience to craft a specific and actionable advice to senior executive leaders.
