About this role :

You would be part of the global consulting delivery team of Gartner Consulting advising IT and business leaders on cost optimization, develop comparative insights and create new capabilities and market opportunities for some of our large customers across North America, EMEA and Japan regions. As a consultant in the India Centre of Excellence your role would be to deliver consulting engagement for our clients as part of global team by demonstrating strong technology industry experience, business acumen, great learning attitude, problem solving and consultative skill and quality of execution.

What you'll do:

- Work on consulting engagements providing solutions to world's largest clients on their mission critical priorities

- Articulate findings and implications on client software delivery techniques and provide fact-based recommendations for improvements

- Provide insights and recommendations on the ERP solutions including options analysis, organizational and technical readiness strategic architecture analysis, solution migration and transition strategies

- Demonstrate strong understanding of leading application design and architectural principals and best practices, hands on experience in large scale IT landscape

- Make high impact client presentations with compelling story board, hypothesis and visualization to deliver actionable recommendations

- Collaborate with internal practice and industry leaders to contribute in reusable solutions and POVs

- Work as individual contributor to deliver complex engagements with minimal or no supervision

What you'll need:

- Experience working with one or more Enterprise Business Applications (e.g., ERP, HCM, CRM, SCM) and the associated value streams such as Record-to Report, Hire-to-Retire, Source-to-Pay,

- Order-to-Cash, and Plan-to-Produce.

- Prospect-to-Customer,

- 3-5 years of proven experience in strategy consulting from Tier 1 firms

- Experience working with one or more major ERP cloud offering (e.g., Infor CloudSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Workday).

- Experience with application/software development lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, deployment), including agile (preferred), hybrid, and waterfall methodologies

- Knowledge of one or more aspects of the enterprise business application lifecycle including strategy, selection, readiness, deployment, implementation, oversight, support, and management (governance, risk).

- Knowledge of the Enterprise Business Application software vendors and service providers (e.g., system integrators, application service providers).

- Knowledge of leading-edge and emerging technologies that drive application design and development such as low code / no code platform, software and platform as a service extension, continuous availability, robotic process automation, chatbots, integration platforms, and mesh application and service architecture

- Expertise in building a business case for technology investment preferred

- Strong technical capabilities coupled with the ability to clearly communicate the business value and bottom-line impacts of technology decisions to a non-technical audience

- A passion for client service and excellence in delivery that includes attention to detail and ability to prioritize
