Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare responses for the assessments including compilation of data required for the assessment.

- Support and Assist Senior Manager on the tax litigations.

- Advise Management on the tax implications of proposed transaction.

- Prepare and file return of income in compliance with Income Tax law.

- Prepare tax audit report and get the same audited from the tax auditor.

- Review contracts and analyse the tax implications on foreign payment as per domestic tax law and DTAA.

- Coordinate with tax consultants for availing form 15CB.

- Review the withholding tax on domestic payments prepared by accounts team on monthly and review quarterly filing of tax return.

- Ensure that correct amount is deducted and timely deposit of the same.

- Review the TDS reconciliation and compile the report required for reporting under clause 34 of Form 3CD.

- Guide accounting team on the withholding tax.

- Ensure compliance with Equalisation levy and filing of return.

- Coordinate with tax consultant for filing of US branch tax return.

- Work closely with business and tech team on the tax implication of any new product development.

Job Specifications:

- CA with 2 to 3 years post qualification experience in Direct Tax.

- Strong knowledge of Income Tax and DTAA.

- Exposure to transfer pricing and FEMA will be an added advantage.

- Must possess strong analytical and interpretation skills.

- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification:

Cleared CA up to 3 attempts with experience into direct taxation.
