Position: Vice President (VP) - Marketing
Job brief :
Looking for an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with the business goals.
Our ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques. Our VP - Marketing will report to the CEO and will oversee internal Marketing teams. To be successful in this role, you should be highly professional. You should also play a significant role shaping the company's strategic planning.
Provide marketing expertise to the Company by building, developing & managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics. The candidate should be an enthusiastic, experienced, metrics oriented marketer who enjoys challenges and pushing his/her limits.
Ultimately, Should be able to ensure that the Marketing department's activities contribute to our company's long-term success.
Academic Qualifications : MBA
Required Skills :
Proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role
Progressive experience working in a marketing leadership role with experience in Digital (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing, Affiliate, Alliances, Display Ads, Video Advertising, Retargeting, Mobile Marketing, web analytics and Google Adwords) and Offline (ATL, BTL, partnerships, PR and community management) marketing activities
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
Create, own, and implement overall marketing strategies, providing leadership and direction to team members
Manage and lead the Marketing team, PR efforts, Demand Generation, Platform Marketing, Product Marketing and Brand Management
Excellent communications skills and Strong analytical and management skills
Strong leadership skills and Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
Role Description :
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase product and brand awareness
Understanding the company's unique market position then develop, iterate and launch marketing programs, rolling out to multiple new markets and geographies
Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
Design and review the Marketing department's budget
Manage and lead the Marketing team, PR efforts, Demand Generation, Platform Marketing, Product Marketing and Brand Management.
Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
Plan & execute integrated marketing campaigns that builds the company s pipeline and also mature existing opportunities
Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth, Track competitors- activities
Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives
