Role Description:

G Square Housing is looking for a full-time Land Acquisition Head in Chennai. The role requires on-site work and will oversee the acquisition and management of land for our exclusive residential layouts, commercial business parks and plotted layouts. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding legal requirements related to land acquisition, liaising with various government organizations, identifying potential acquisition sites, and leading negotiations with sellers.

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in land acquisition with specific experience in the Chennai geography

- Strong understanding of legal documentation related to land acquisition, and experience liaising with government officials at all levels

- Proven track record of identifying and acquiring desirable land parcels for residential, commercial, and retail development

- Well-developed negotiation skills, with experience leading property acquisition deals from start to finish.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Law, or a related field

- Experience in managing the full acquisition process including conducting site analysis, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and closing
