This is an important component of a comprehensive risk management plan. - Ensure Cyber security framework and awareness which is relevant and recent - Ensure culture of IT security, threats and data protection - Promotes user awareness initiatives within the organization. - Builds and leads the information security team with appropriate competencies and attitude to deliver the information security program - CISO needs to understand the various business functions of the organization to develop a cyber crisis management plan. - CISO need to develop the plan considering that cyber risk is different from other risks. - CISO must enable cyber security regulation as per IRDA circular. As per regulatory guideline, all Insurers must have a CISO and Cyber security Plan in place. - Developing cyber crisis management plan, which should incorporate key functions including threat intelligence services, forensic investigation, and collaboration with key stakeholders, root cause analysis, detection, response, recovery, and containment, that could help in building good cyber defences
