We are hiring Business Development - Online Sales
Position- Manager/ Sr Manager
Location Elphinston Mumbai
Role: Business Development Manager - Online Sales.
Responsible for growing and managing the relationships with Aggregators, Fintech/Insuretech companies, online company, mutual fund distributors and DSA Network for online business in order to achieve the sales targets.
- Set up new relationships with partners
- Look at end-to-end go live of the partner for the business.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that adequate support is provided to the partner for running the business,
- Delivery of a robust engagement plan leading to a robust sales funnel.
- Develop compensation and R&R plan for partner.
- Measure of Success of the job includes-
Deliver of sales target
Share of business from each partner
Incremental business from new partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prospecting, Managing and driving sales from partners
- Provide product expertise and process know how when dealing with prospective partners.
- Smooth On boarding of new partners
- Ensure effective and smooth relationship with assigned partners for growth of business.
- Influence decision making at all levels for prospective and current partners.
- Maximise the share of business with the partner.
- Participate in discussions to value add in the needs based consultative process to help meet the distributors- financial goals
- Mapping opportunities with each distributor, looking at incremental opportunities through campaigns, cross-sell or new products.
- Monitoring performance of the distributor on ongoing basis.
2. Coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure a robust engagement with the distributors
- Be on top of the administrative, process or payment related issues with distributor.
- Establish a mechanism for timely and comprehensive resolution of distributor queries.
- Get internal alignments and readiness for campaigns, new launches or new initiatives.
- Ensure co-ordination between various cross functional stakeholders to maintain smooth functioning of the channel.
3. Control and compliance
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements
- Report all complications and exceptions
- Ensure no exceptions in audit
- Adherence to distance marketing guidelines
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduate preferably with an MBA, prior sales experience in developing aggregators, fintech players, brokers, mutual fund distributors/agents/DSA etc
MINIMUM/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
4-7 years of experience.
