Preferable from Life Insurance Background Job Summary: To act as the Fraud Controller and Sales Compliance monitor for the entire organisation by reviewing compliance with reference to Sales &amp; Operations Processes, suggesting Pro-Active measures to prevent Customer, Employee, Distributor, Vendor and Other Frauds, through various reviews including branch visits, investigation of cases and ensuring disciplinary action as per governance grid of the organisation. Main Responsibility: - Mitigation of Distributor Fraud - Deep dive analysis of all Frauds, especially Third Party Distributors, by publishing analytics bringing out the root cause of Frauds and facilitating correction in processes to mitigate the Fraud risks in the organization - Effective investigation process Ensuring timely conduct of investigations into various allegations including whistle blower complaints and guiding the investigators to establish the frauds - Proactive Fraud control &amp; management - Constant review of susceptible and vulnerable areas across various functions within the organization which are prone to fraud risk, including Sales processes, Branch processes, Head office processes including Finance areas (Travel bills, reimbursement claims), HR processes etc, and measuring effectiveness of controls and effective recommendations to increase effectiveness of fraud risk controls within the organization - Ethical Market Conduct - Monitoring the market conduct of sales intermediaries employed in the distribution channels by carrying out regular reviews of the channels and support the management with the areas of improvement in them - Sales and Labour Law Compliance - Conducting Compliance Reviews of Sales and Operations of Branches. Surprise Audits/Visits to the Branches to observe Non-compliant Activities, Observations and ensuring to mitigate the observations &amp; Compliance to Non-Conformities - Process Change Management - Identifying process gaps and suggesting remedial measures to curb those gaps by re-engineering of Processes - Governance Action (Employees) - Supporting conduct of proceedings by the Governance Committee and facilitating the process of implementing Governance actions through HR function - Governance Action (Advisor) - Advising disciplinary actions against the Advisors involved in Sales Malpractices, including interrogations, confronting based on evidences available and establishing the truth. Presenting cases before the Governance Committee and enabling right decision making. Interaction with Enforcement authorities including Police to pursue FIRs filed by the Company - Compliance Awareness and Visibility - Conduct awareness programmes in the organization through training, workshops, and other proactive initiatives for continuous education and improvement of employees on compliance policies. Qualification and Experience: - Education : Graduation with some specialised qualification in Risk management - Experience : At least 15 years of experience in the area of Risk management, with atleast about 7 years experience in Fraud risk control management - Skills : Strong conceptual skills and Intensive MS Office Knowledge - Creativity of approach - Strong communication &amp; Presentation skill - Self-Driven Approach to Perform
