Role - Assistant Manager - Taxation

Responsibilities-

- Setup end to end process and workings to be carried out for Direct & Indirect taxes including but not limited to the following sub-tasks

- Monthly / Quarterly / Annual returns (GST & Income Tax)

- Data collation and integrity with the help of internal systems

- Reconciliation with multiple sources of data (both internal and external)

- Communication with internal teams and help them understand relevance and importance

- Advise the company to take the right course of action in tax related matters after thorough application of law and other case laws in the market

- Response and track of all notices received by the company

- Internal reporting to management at the end of every period of the taxation performance of the group by means of a dashboard or presentation.

- Recommendation of favourable execution strategies for invoicing, GST, TDS, accounting methods considering the nature of business carried out.

- Being the SPOC and managing the tax audit (both direct and indirect) / any other assignment for all the entities under Furlenco group.

- Managing a team of junior accountants, responsible for their progress and professional career.

- Any other role-related tasks that may come up from time to time in the normal course of business.

Requirement-

- Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of experience

- Prior working knowledge of GST & Income tax

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
