Agriculture Fund Raising Consultant

Desta has many impactful projects that need funding to take them to scale.

Responsibilities:

- Understand Desta agriculture and water projects and prepare documents for grants and debt fund raising

- Make a list of relevant funding agencies

- Approach government and non-government funding sources on behalf of Desta

- Ensure all funding closure procedures are managed on behalf of Desta

Preferred Qualifications:

- Should have raised at least USD 3 million in grant funding preferably for agriculture projects in India

- An extensive network with relevant agriculture funders

- Exceptional presentation and documentation skills

- Good knowledge about agriculture industry

Compensation: Part fixed. Part a % of amount of funds raised.

Engagement Period: Initial three months to close funding for certain project. Will be extended based on performance.
