Fund Manager/Chief Investment Officer - Public Markets - Investment Firm

As a senior executive, the Chief Investment Officer/Principal Investment Officer will play a crucial role in shaping our investment strategy and overseeing the execution of investment decisions to ensure long-term growth and success.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of investment strategies, aligning with the firm's commitment to long-term compounding effects in Indian public markets and private equity/venture capital.

- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the investment team, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of investment plans.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and financial data to inform and drive investment decisions.

- Evaluate potential investment opportunities, negotiate terms, and lead the due diligence process.

- Monitor and assess the performance of the investment portfolio, making recommendations for adjustments and improvements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.

- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and market conditions to adapt and refine the investment strategy as needed.

Requirements :

- 15-20 years of experience in investment management, with a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles.

- MBA in Finance or a relevant field is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of Indian public markets and private equity/venture capital landscape.

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.

- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on achieving long-term compounding effects.
