EQUITY OPTIONS & COMMODITIES DERIVATIVES TRADING: -

- Owning P&L accountability and driving the management, development, and promotion of Edelweiss' commodity platform, leading the deal process, and executing deals to generate revenue.

- Maximizing trading revenue and use different hedging strategies to minimize the portfolio risk and prevent capital loss.

- Working closely with structuring and sales teams to identify opportunities for future business growth.

- Proactively leading projects and liaise with relevant function groups.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

- Establishing relationships at all levels to ensure treasury activity is understood to help identify where business-wide activities/initiatives have treasury impacts.

- Partnering with various stakeholders across the business the ensure the smooth day-to-day running of bank relationships

RISK MANAGEMENT:

- Assisting clients with risk management and providing hedging solutions to manage their balance sheet and interest rate exposures.

- Leading risk management decisions on the desk, managing market risk of the trading book, and utilizing the OTC and exchange markets to hedge risk.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

- Coordinating and leading multi-functional teams to provide an exceptional client experience.

- Creating an environment of continuous improvement to drive franchise objectives on KPIs, team building, integration, staff motivation, and talent development.

1. MBA and bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field; degree or relevant professional certifications (CFA, FRM) preferred.

2. Proven experience as an Equity Fund Manager or in a similar capacity, with a demonstrable track record of successfully managing equity portfolios.

3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with an in-depth understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.

5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to market changes and making well-informed and timely investment decisions.

6. Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
