Fund Accounting Role - Hedge Funds

Our client is a leading name into global alternative asset services providers, looking to hire professionals to join their hedge fund accounting team based out of Pune/Mumbai locations at various levels from Manager to VP.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Supervising and administration of the portfolio of hedge funds

- Responsible for accounting of hedge funds

- End to end NAV Calculation, review, and reconciliation.

- Assisting senior members in meeting client expectations, preparation of financial statements and meeting deadlines

- Preparing journal entries. Should be able to prepare journal entries manually.

- Escalating material issues of NAV production process and preparation of ledgers

- Liase with internal teams to resolve any issues.

- Will be responsible for transition, project management and risk management at AVP and VP level

- AVP and VPs will be responsible for team management.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Master's degree in accounting/finance. CA /CPA/ CMA/ CFA preferred

- 4 plus years of relevant experience in hedge fund accounting.

- Strategic thinker and problem solver.

- Excellent MS Excel skills

- Should be open for early US shift hours (evening shifts)
