CMT Comms(Functional role)
Job Description :
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation
Project Delivery :
Lead small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, define deliverable content, manage stakeholders and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions.
Responsibilities may include :
- Create functional Blueprints of BSS processes
- Requirement assessment and Functional gap analysis
- Ensure alignment of processes to industry standards
- Ability to understand the as-is process; understand issues with the processes which can be resolved either through technology or process solutions and design detail level to-be process with all stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and translate them to business requirements (business requirement definition), business process flows and functional requirements - thereby acting as an interface between business and technology teams
- Respond to RFI and RFPs
- Provide inputs on best practices, industry leading solutions
- Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the CMT practice
- Perform role of counselor and coach, provides input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities
- Develop points-of-view, research or white papers on process transformation & process enhancements, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals;
Experience :
Specific experience will include :
- 1- 4 years of consulting experience in the telecommunications sector typically from the Big4. Strategy Consulting managers can also be looked at for specific roles.
- Consulting experience for operators / service providers along with the following skills
a) Functional analysis of existing Fulfillment and assurance systems
b) B2B process/ model design
c) Business model definition
- Working knowledge of standards such as eTOM
- Experience working on a large-scale Business / Operational Transformation project desirable
- Strong program management skills
- Good Listening skills
- Experience working with - C- level executive clients
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- MBA from a Tier 1 B School
- Global exposure will be desirable

- Possesses excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent presentation skills
- Comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the - C- level executives in a range of environments
- Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
- Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment
- Possesses and demonstrates high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work
- Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts
Other Details :
Travel : Ability to accommodate very significant domestic and international travel upto 90%
