Functional Consultant/Senior Consultant - SAP MM

Essentials (prerequisites) : 

- Good Communication

- Understanding of Indian scenarios

- Confidence Level / Presentation

- SAP Certification (Optional)

Job Role :

Experience : 

- Minimum two end to end implementations in India (Client facing)

- Understands the project life cycle and SAP's Activate (Agile) methodology

- Experience of 6 - 8 years

Expectations at the consultant level

- Understanding of Business Processes and Design

- SAP configuration / configuration document preparation

- Preparation of functional specifications / interaction with ABAP team

- Unit testing / User acceptance testing

- Preparation of training manuals

- Preparation of data templates / understanding of data upload tools

- Basic understanding of SAP Authorizations

Functional Experience in MM Module covering

- Development of material master, vendor / BP master, Source list, info record, service master, maintain material master, maintain vendor/ BP master, maintain source list, maintain info record. Experience of Design, Configuration and Testing of CR.

- Inventory Control

- Preparation of RFQ, Maintain and Compare Quotations.

- Knowledge of Solution Manager, Change Management

- Good knowledge on SOD, user authorization

- Knowledge of Business Processes of Materials Management covering the following

- Procurement Planning

- Procurement Process (Material & Services)

- Vendor Evaluation

- Inventory Management

- Consumption Based Planning and MRP

- Physical inventory and cycle counting

- Sub-contacting process

- Vendor Invoice Verification Process

- Implemented changes which have come as part of GST in India

- Create, update and maintain detailed functional specification documents

- Exposure to the use of BAPI, BADI's and User Exists

- Good hands- on development of interfaces with Non SAP applications

Functional Experience in WM Module covering the following processes

- Inbound Processes

- Outbound Processes

- Picking / Packing and Dispatches

- Replenishments

- Should have worked on developing RF enabled processes

Additional expectation for role of senior consultant

- Has independently lead the module development

- Client communication

- Preparation of project status reports

- Cross functional expertise across FI, PP and SD is must

Academic Qualification : Post Graduate with good understanding of MM and WM
