Functional Analyst - Fund Accounting - Business Technology Group - Bank

One of our clients, a Leading Private Bank is looking out for a Functional Analyst - Fund Accounting - Business Technology Group to be based at Mumbai.

Prerequisite for job - 

1. Thorough knowledge of Mutual Fund and Insurance operations exclusively Fund Accounting operations.

2. Atleast 3 years experience in either Day to day Fund Accounting operations or Supporting Fund Accounting operations as Functional Analyst

3. Thorough knowledge of Insurance Fund accounting including IRDA Reporting and Limit Monitoring

4. Good Knowledge NAV, Management Fees Regulation and Fact Sheet for Mutual Fund.

5. Thorough knowledge of Financial Year Closing, Year Ending Procedure and allocation of Expenditure ratio till plan level

6. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of Dividend Equalization.

7. Candidate who has hands on experience in Multifond Application is most preferable Candidate

Job Description

1. End to End project Management and to follow SDLC life cycle including Preparation of Project Plan and follow up and escalation till implementation of Projects

2. Preparation of Requirement Document and Finalization of Finalization of Functional Specification Document along with Business, Operations and Vendor

3. Vendor Management with respect to end to end co-ordination for Projects Deliverable and escalation

4. Daily support for the production issues including analysis, Simulation and reporting of issue analysis with vendor

5. Responsible for the timely resolution for Critical issues

6. User Acceptance Testing of Enhancement and Production issue releases

7. Responsible for Vendor Management, including Commercial Proposal and follow up and processing for vendor payment.

8. Post verification Test along with User post the production movement of enhancements and Production issue releases.

Migration Support for Boarding New Clients for Fund Accounting

1. Preparation of Prerequisite Data element for the Migration and provide the same to clients

2. Preparation of Migration Plan and communicate our Business and operations.

3. Follow and co-ordination with Business for Data

4. Take up additional requirement if any with vendor and our IT-Team and communicate the delivery

5. Arrangement of UAT set up for Creation of Fund and Parallel run of Daily NAV process including matching of Holding, Daily NAV and Trial Balance with Client

6. Support operations users to Commence parallel run in Production Environment till live declaration of NAV.
