Fullerton India - Manager/Senior Manager - Operations - Urban/Rural/Housing Finance

The Operations unit caters to the following activities pertaining to the Urban and Rural business as well as the Housing Finance company. The candidate is required to ensure compliance against company laid down policy & procedures.

Activities included as follows:

1. Centralized Banking

- Responsible for Urban, Rural & HFC Centralized banking - Ensuring compliance of the prevailing checks and controls in the process.

- Timely and frequent reviews on the Banking process to identify risks and build controls to mitigate the same.

- Ensuring maximum transactions are routed via Central Banking

- Keeping in place a repository for all transactions executed with proper audit trails. Ensure periodic reporting requirements are adhered to.

- Addressing queries related to Central Banking.

- Responsible for complete & accurate account reconciliation w.r.t the Central Banking

- Relationship management with the sponsor banks & ensuring correct invoicing

- Identification & Set up of various cost reduction initiatives via negotiation with Banks / implementation of new process

2. Record management:

- Handling the record management for the unit.

- Adherence to the Record Management policy of Fullerton India.

- Invoice monitoring & ensure correct billing by the vendor

- Regular audits to be conducted for the archival vendor to assess safety & security of the documents archived

- Including any other activity w.r.t the Central Banking process

3. Business and Financial Management

- Accurate & timely execution of Central Banking

- Operational Loss to be kept at minimal

- Complete control over bank recon & ensure timely invoicing

4. Customer Focus

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of performance metrics and SLAs to the Management.

- Identify and resolve problems to avoid further escalation.

- Provide strategic guidance to the team members to ensure service delivery.

5. People / Team Management

- Create a high performance, fair and exciting work environment that provides motivation and development opportunities for the teams.

- Attrition within acceptable levels.

- Maintain productivity at acceptable levels

6. Process / Quality Improvement

- Ensure that all procedures and processes are up to date and initiate adjustments if necessary, in line with internal rules and regulations in order to realize effective & efficient procedures and processes.

- Process improvements through implementation of system changes / enhancements and process refinements.

- Ensure compliance to all statutory & regulatory requirements.

Expertise required/ Domain Knowledge:

- Candidate should have worked in a large BPO / similar sized Bank / NBFC and has experience in managing multiple teams executing complex back office for BFSI product, preferably Retail Asset Operations(Secured and Unsecured)

- He should have fair knowledge and exposure of various Reconciliation process and control mechanisms.

- He / She should have managed multiple teams or entire Product BPO operations.

- He / She should be able to contribute and implement best practices in the organization and lay down proper policies and procedure for the Unit.

- Good consumer Loans product knowledge, processing, control mechanisms, accounting principles and technology savvy

- Thorough knowledge of Banking, Accountancy, Operational Risks & Risk Reviews.

Any specific specialization/education: Graduate/ Post Graduate or MBA Finance with relevant experience

Salary range: 8 - 12 LPA
