Purpose of the Job : The function of the Legal team is to follow designed processes, review and approval of nonstandard documents, drafting of documents, review and approve title search reports issued by empanelled advocates, initiate and manage non-recovery litigations, police station matters, document review, MIS and such matters assigned by the reporting manager/Head Legal Key Performance Indicators : - Review and approve only such property offered as security which is legally enforceable - Manage cost of external lawyers - Manage non collection litigation and Police escalations - Liasoning with Police/regulatory/statutory authorities - Prepare non-standard documents - Review of non-standard document - Standardize loan / security documents - Clarifying legal queries raised in title search reports - Provide documentation support i.e. vetting, drafting, modifications of the agreements, notices, petitions, etc. - Providing support to Non -collection litigations related issues - Build strong relationship with advocates, regulatory/statutory authorities - Build capability at branch level to improve productivity - Improve tat for title clearance - Implement a process management &amp; improvement framework - Ensure adherence to culture with focus on Integrity, Discipline, Teamwork (no silos) &amp; Care - Ensure strong corporate governance, regulatory compliance &amp; adherence to management model Expertise required/ Domain Knowledge : Prior experience in banking/NBFC sector No. of years of relevant experience : 2- 5 Yrs Specific specialization/education : LLB/ LLM Salary Offered : 6-9 LPA
