Perspective :

Business and Financial Management :

- Develop MISs to enable better control over the porfolio. MIS on bureau related data, Cross sale MISs etc.

- Provide timely feedback on product performance and P&L impact to the stakeholders through MIS reports and dashboards.

- Timely and accurate preparation of the Board meeting /ROC presentation and adhoc request raised during board meetings.

- Research on existing big data frameworks for importing and storing unstructured data received from various Apps and online data sources

- Support database set up process by identifying best-in-class methods & solutions

- Transformation of unstructured data to structured usable format

Customer Focus :

Internal customers will be across levels :

- Product risk managers & business managers

- Risk & business heads

People / Team :

- Establish and develop a highly-skilled and motivated team to meet the growing needs of the business.

- Knowledge sharing with other team members in connection with different MIS tools and databases etc

- Coordinating and liaising with other teams to timely deliver decks and databases etc.

Process / Quality Improvement :

- Automation and standardisation of all information requirements from other teams.

- Collaborate with IT to automate key MIS reports to facilitate accurate dissemination of information in a timely manner.

- Improve and enhance current MISs, work on reduction of TAT and ensuring accuracy of the same.

Decisions recommended :

- Database solution for storing of structured/unstructured data, data driven strategies, Triggers based action design

Task performed :

- Manage analytics database, server and regular MIS reporting

- Research on distributed storage solution and recommendation

- Transformation & storage of unstructured data

- Analysis of data to provide insightful reports and presentations for the management

Expertise required/ Domain Knowledge :

- SQL database development and management

- Experience of working in data analytics BI role, in a bank / FI preferred

- Experience working with big data/ unstructured data and hands on knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Cassandra is preferred

No. of years of relevant experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in database management, MIS reporting with close to 2 years of experience in handling big/alternate/unstructured data.
