The Supply Chain & Purchase Senior Manager will play a key role in optimizing the company's supply chain operations and procurement processes. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration skills to ensure seamless coordination and efficiency across all aspects of the supply chain and purchasing functions.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the company's supply chain and procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and inventory management.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and on-board suppliers/vendors for fuel procurement and other related supplies across India. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders for fuel and other necessary supplies. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory. Implement inventory control measures to improve accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate fuel delivery schedules, optimize delivery routes, and ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers. Address any logistical challenges or issues that may arise.

Cost Optimisation: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize costs across the supply chain and purchasing functions. Monitor and analyze procurement expenses to identify areas for improvement.

Quality Control: Establish quality control standards for fuel procurement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to maintain high-quality standards.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and purchasing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to maximize team performance and productivity.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans to minimize the impact of potential risks on operations.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize performance across the supply chain and purchasing functions. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience & Skills Required:

- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in the fuel or energy industry.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

- Sound knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fuel procurement and supply chain management.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
