Key Responsibilities -
- Conduct in depth business-to-business research through Primary and Secondary sources, analyse industry trends and data, and generate client focused reports, briefings, presentations and other project material focused on the ICT industry / clients in the Middle East region.
- Synthesize, analyse and interpret primary and secondary data.
- To produce high quality market research and consulting content on the markets, including market size forecasts, competitive (market share) information and strategic recommendations for our clients.
- Authoring market reports, articles for press, and other thought leadership deliverables, such as white papers, case studies etc.
- Work directly and closely with clients on consulting projects, contribute industry news and articles to our website and the trade press, and deliver presentations conferences.
- The main focus of this role would be to create, populate and maintain a team-wide database for quantitative and qualitative information on the - technology space for ME region.
- Write reports that are logical and concise with minimal guidance.
- Continuously monitor the Information Technology market, and provide insightful quantitative and strategic analysis to our clients through market sector reports
- Aggregate data held by team analysts and conduct research to retrieve additional data from various official sources (e.g. international/regional organizations, country regulatory bodies, etc.) .
- Format and generate spread sheet reports and/or presentations from available data, when required.
- To contribute directly to confidential custom projects, using specialist industry knowledge and research/strategic analysis skills.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the content strategy by suggesting how we may integrate data tracking into our client deliverables.
- Develop a credible and astute opinion on market developments, and translate them into opportunities for our clients.
- Establish a presence as an influential and knowledgeable figure in the concerned Industry

- Develop relationships with clients and other stakeholders within the regional ICT community.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Research and consulting skills with thorough understanding of research methodologies, and ability to acquire, analyse and manage information
- Strong understanding of the ICT market, trends, and emerging technologies; in depth understanding of telecom technologies (e.g. fixed line, mobile, wireless etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering or MBA (preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of research and consulting experience, preferably in Computer Science /Information Technology / Telecom
- Arabic language proficiency will be an added advantage
