Senior Consultant - Chemicals , Materials & Foods Consulting

- Frost & Sullivan is looking for Candidates at Senior consultant level for its Chemicals, Materials & Foods practice, within the South Asia region. An Experienced person with a blend of business development and project management skills with excellent strategy and implementation skills, work is both on an individual basis and as part of a project team. The suitable candidate will play a critical role in front ending with clients as a supporting resource for delivery of project initiatives.

- Reporting to the regional Business Unit Leader of the Chemicals & Foods practice, the Senior Consultant will lead, coordinate and manage the consulting and implementation projects in close coordination with clients on the project management side.

- The successful candidate will be an experienced research professional with comprehensive knowledge of one or more of the following industries: Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Foods, Beverages, Agro products, Paints, Oil & Gas. The functional breadth of projects includes topics such as identification and prioritization of strategic options (long- and short-term opportunities), analysis of market entry options, feasibility studies, go to market strategies, business models and strategic roadmap developments

Key responsibilities -

- Create/ develop business models, market scenarios and forecasts relevant to respective projects

- Deliver high-quality analysis related to evolving technology and business trends in the Industrial sector (and specific sub-segments), mostly in response to specific client requests

- Identify relevant strategies for clients based on insights, work with client resources (including C-level executives when need be)

- Develop fact-based recommendations and priorities for actionable strategies to be implemented by clients

- Enthusiasm to take ownership for analysis undertaken, manage teams working under this role to deliver projects in the proposed time and budget, with highest levels of credibility

- Establish good working relationships with colleagues analyst across global multi-functional teams focusing on Foods, Chemicals markets

- Proven effective cross team working skills, being able to work in an open and trusting way across the broader Consulting and Research teams throughout Frost & Sullivan.

- Be a vital part of the growth of the Industrial research group as it expands its reach across the entire South Asia region

- Provide input to development of consulting best practice, offerings and strategy

Managing Tasks- Demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritize own work-load to ensure project objectives and targets met

Skills and qualifications -

Total experience: Minimum 7 years

- A relevant post graduate qualification BE / ME / B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemicals, Biotechnology, Petrochemicals, Foods Technology

- Have worked largely in Consulting projects with respect to Chemicals and related industries

- An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English
