Job Title: Solutions Architect Reports to: Head - Operations Division: Technology Solutions Based at: Bengaluru Experience : 10+ yrs Roles and Responsibilities As a key member of the Solutions Architecture team, ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the cloud platform. - Support the Business development team to help formulate a strategy for customers to adopt AWS / Azure / GCP. - Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS / Azure / GCP and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. - Understand the AWS / Azure / GCP market segments, customer base, and industry verticals and work with Sales team with go to market activities. - Collaborate with delivery teams to formulate and execute implementation strategy. - Identify new / emerging issues and conduct technical trainings / triages for Service Delivery teams, support teams and customers. - Provide technical leadership for long running cases / tickets with Service Delivery teams. - To conduct regular ( Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual ) audit of Managed Services accounts ( and for customers ) to identify opportunities to Optimize infrastructure, minimize security risks and threats with patching and or upgrading / updating the OS / Infra, etc as required. - Liaison between customers, OEMs and Delivery teams for technical resolution. Candidate profile - Deep technical skill and knowledge in Cloud Computing, IT infrastructure and software architecture. - Customer facing skills gained in presales or consulting roles allowing them to represent AWS / Azure / GCP in discussions with technical leadership. - Demonstrate ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges. - Complete awareness of technology trends and the how they impact the way businesses consume Cloud / IT resources. - Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies - Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with CXOs, Enterprise / Cloud Architects, IT Managers and developers. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations - Quick learner with demonstrated ability to adopt new technologies and research skills. Qualification - Engineering Degree in Computer Science or Information Science or Information Technology or any other equivalent accreditation. - Preferably a Masters Degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or equivalent technical degree. - 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of complex IT / Cloud solutions. - 5+ years of professional experience architecting large scale solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP Infrastructure, database and networking with high availability and scalability. AWS Certified: Solutions Architect - Professional. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. GCP Certified: Professional Cloud Architect
