This role would involve translating and explaining complex, technical information to FT customers, focusing on how our product can solve specific problems. They would also focus on understanding customer requirements / customizations, work with Product and Engineering and communicate a plan of action back to the customer (along with the Account manager). Key responsibilities : - FT product demos that are specific to the prospect's needs, goals and unique scenario. - Providing a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answering product-related questions during the sales conversation. - Supporting the FT sales team for responding to RFPs and preparing custom responses. - Participating in discussions with customers regarding the competitive landscape, and communicating FT's differentiation (from a Product and Technical perspective). - Act as the technical project manager for coordinating with internal teams (Product and Engineering), salesperson and customer and working with internal teams to ascertain feasibility and plan of delivery for the customer. - Train sales team on demo techniques, providing guidelines, scripts and any other support required. - Demonstrates and trains sales team members on new product features and how to successfully position those features for maximum impact. Preferred qualifications/skills : - Bachelor's/MBA degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent experience. - 3-5 years of experience in Pre Sales, Solution Selling, Sales, Product Management. - Combination of technical and soft skills : Not just technical knowledge but the ability to communicate complex information in a clear, simple and concise manner. - High problem solving mindset. - Ability to work well with people across different functions. - Ideally, someone with sales experience in Supply Chain solutions.
