Designation: Product Marketing Manager Location: Mumbai Role &amp; Responsibilities: - Communicate the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process - Draft a Sales &amp; Marketing plan as well as product releases newsletters for customers. - Expertise in developing &amp; Implementing Promotional Plans and Marketing Campaigns and managing Marketing Communications to reach mid-market and enterprise customers with a resonating message - Product gap analysis and actively looking for a solution to fill identified product gaps. - Marketing Management - Identify, develop and execute marketing strategy campaigns for Product promotion and Brand promotion. - Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market - Product training &amp; demonstrations to customers &amp; sales team. Also, advising clients on project-based needs &amp; designs. - Finance (monitor costs &amp; margins) - Develop the product positioning strategy with respect to - market segment, customer categories, pricing, competition, etc. - Design and develop product launch strategies. - Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching) - Evaluate projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers Key skills : - Collaborative skills: As a product marketing manager person will have to work with teams across the organization. This will often include all key internal stakeholders, sales and marketing, senior leadership, etc. New product launches are inherent - cross-functional- and entail coordinating the work of many different people. - Meeting Deadlines: Should have the ability to work under conflicting priorities and deadlines. - Communication skills: Both speaking and writing abilities have to be tapped in this role. - Frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the story of products, for various marketing channels. - Research skills: Gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix. Requirements : - 4+ yrs of experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager or similar role - Background in design and copywriting is a plus - Experience in market analysis - Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns) - Ability to steer unforeseen obstacles gracefully - Ability to work in a cross-functional environment - Excellent creativity and communication skills - A keen eye for detail - Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills - MBA in Marketing, Communications or similar field
