This person will help us negotiate customer contracts, structure partnership agreements with our channel partners, figure out our IP strategy and help us build our partnership ecosystem. Website: www.freighttiger.com Indicative Key Responsibilities : - Legal Advisory - Provide accurate and timely counsel in a variety of legal matters. - Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations. - Verify company policies from a legal standpoint. - Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliances. - Promote a high degree of professional ethics and integrity. - Provide guidance and training on ensuring legal compliance to various business functions. - Advise the teams on various government regulations and contractual obligations. - Manage direct interaction with government bodies on various matters. - Collaborate with the management to devise efficient legal defensive strategies. - Contract Vetting - Draft various agreements, contracts, non-disclosure and other legal documents to ensure Company's full legal rights. - Drafting letters/applications to be made to various authorities, as well as drafting replies to be given to various authorities in response to the letters/notices. - Communicate and negotiate with external parties as required. Preferred Qualifications/Skills : - Should be an LLB / LLM with 3-5 years of proven experience as a Legal Counsel. - Should have excellent knowledge and understanding of legal compliances. - Strategic thinker with strong work ethics and first-principles thinking - ability to analyze situations and create proactive legal strategies. - The candidate should have experience working with a fast-paced early-stage tech startup preferably in e-commerce, Logistics, SAAS, and Marketplace domain. - Willingness to learn, be a hustler with sound judgement.
