- Attend weekly Ops meetings with respective business units / properties. Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
- Help the business unit leader to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees such as Employment Act / Labor related information etc, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met through Touch Points.
