Fraud Control Unit Manager - Team Handling Profile

Head Office Location: Worli, Mumbai

Responsibilities -

- To identify Frauds before Disbursement of Personal Loans.

- To verify and analyse the entire case before forwarding cases for disbursement.

- Takes ownership of the Fraud Control Check process, making decisions in the best interest of the customer and organization.

- Provides support to Operations & Sales Team.

- Responsible for measuring covenants put in place within loan agreements, with a clear understanding of the effect and purpose of those loan covenants, and communicates the compliance of the borrower to internal depts.

- Analyses more complex credits with assistance from senior department staff.

- Identifies policy exceptions within a credit request.

- Discusses risk ratings and the rationale for the determination of acceptable credits with the relationship managers (RM) and credit approvers.

- Prepares & publishes Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports to the reporting Manager.

- Presenting Monthly/Weekly reviews.

- Analysing CIBIL/CRIF/Experian reports for identifying Frauds.

- Ensuring disbursing loans to good customers to avoid future risk of loss in Collections.

- Analysing Banking transactions to onboard good customers.

Experience & Skills Required -

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in FCU Investigation or RCU Profile with handling Personal Loan/Credit Card/Mortgage/Home Loans in Banking & NBFC's.

- Should have team handling experience.

- Should have a good experience in Credit/underwriting dept.

- Should be good in checking credit history of the customers.

- Should have knowledge of understanding Credit policies & processes.

- Should be excellent in MS Excel & Word.

- Should be from Retail Loan industry- specifically from Personal Loans Dept.

- Team player should be able to work under pressure.

- Excellent communication & networking skills.
