The Portfolio Research Associate will be working directly with Senior PMs responsible for Global Emerging Markets portfolios. Associate will be supporting PMs in building and maintaining financial models for companies, conducting reviews of portfolio holdings and assisting in other portfolio management activities. JOB SUMMARY - Conduct research and fundamental analysis of public-listed companies in Emerging Markets. - Develop detailed financial models. - The Associate will review business and trade publications, annual reports, and financial filings and helps PMs on research, data collation and statistical study on the economy, markets, industry and individual companies and their securities. KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE - Up to 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the investment research, preferably in global markets. - Minimum Bachelor's degree. MBA or CFA or both preferred - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Proactive, Self-motivated - Detail-oriented and adaptable to change - Willingness to travel as necessary NOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by incumbents.
