What is the HR Consultant- Global Client Partnering group responsible for?

- HR Consultant: Act as an HR Consultant to the Lines of Business assigned. Partner with Leaders to understand their space & context, proactively diagnose Talent/org issues and work to provide an effective solution.

- Solutioning & Partnering: Works with HR COEs and other business groups as required to deliver impactful services and solutions in support of business goals through the effective integration, use, and facilitation of HR.

- Programs and policies Projects: Supports the development and implementation of complex solutions and/or large-scale, cross-cutting business initiatives with regional or global impact.

- Talent Management: Utilizes effective people management solutions across the entire talent management lifecycle for assigned line of business and/or locations.

- Risk & Employee relations: Provides guidance to reduce organizational risk and resolve employee relations issues, ensures legal compliance, and supports a productive work environment.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a HR Consultant?

- With the guidance of HR Leadership and HR Business Partners, provides consultation and coaching services for leaders in the assessment and resolution of issues focused on increasing the effectiveness of employees, leaders, and teams utilizing Talent Management, COE resources and change management tools as needed.

- In support of global and local programs, provides metrics, trends, and analysis of site and regional climate and business issues with consideration of local and global impact.

- Uses local market intelligence to educate business leaders and HR COEs on best practices

- Coordinates with HR colleagues to support solutions with cross-business unit scope/impact.

- Provides development and career coaching to leaders and employees.

- Facilitates team and group work, as needed

Employee Relations and Risk Mitigation:

- Educates and interprets the application of and compliance with corporate policies and procedures, employment laws and local market practice to both leaders and employees. Responds to employee relations-related needs and, with guidance, determines solutions to mitigate organizational risk, including conducting, documenting, and resolving investigations.

- Assists with responses to external agencies, audits, charges, and employment-related litigation.

- With guidance, ensures information exchange and partnership with internal legal and external counsel, as needed to mitigate risk.

- Provides consultation to leaders and employees to diagnose and guide in the implementation of solutions of routine performance management issues.

- Advises and consults with COEs on individual situations requiring legal guidance.

- Acts as subject matter expert for local, regional, global, and cross-functional, risk-related questions and initiatives.

- Stays current with labor law changes and communicates changes to leaders and employees.

- Develops content for compliance-related training, as needed. Facilitates regional training focused on leader development and compliance ensuring goals are met

COE Partnering and Administration:

- Manages system transactions, following workflow and documentation requirements.

- Optimizes use of HR systems and processes to support business needs, including education of leaders.

- Supports continuous improvement philosophy. Partners with COEs to support the business on various HR activities (e.g., guidance in recruitment, benefits, local facilitation of enterprise development programs, etc.)

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be Successful?

- MBA in HR from a Top Tier B-School

- 5-8 years experience post MBA

- Stakeholder Management

- Solutioning: Breaking the problem into root causes and coming up with solutions

- Execution: Collaborating with various teams to execute on solutions

- Projects: Ability to champion value adding initiatives/projects and executing to completion

- Multi-tasking

- Navigating a matrix org

- Collaborative and Team player

Job Level - Individual Contributor

Shift Work Timings - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST
