Position Expectation :
- The Director - CPG Advanced Analytics will play a vital role in leading and managing consulting and analytics engagements and teams.
- He/She will maintain and develop client relationships as required. He/She will manage managers as well as analysts to prioritize objectives in order to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction and targeted results.
- Our clients drive the integration of consumer, shopper, and market understanding to catalyze business growth across all of our brands .
- They work closely with the Fractal in leverage insights and drive guide portfolio strategies and optimize initiatives for their leading brands.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead, recruit, grow and retain high-caliber data science talent at scale
- Ensure excellence in delivery to internal and external customers
- Create and implement a shared vision for data science applied to product development and delivery
- Build roadmap for data sciences working with thought leaders and other stakeholders at Fractal and respective client group
- Empower analysts to move across existing opportunities up the analytics value chain
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for applying unique, state of the art analytics solutions at respective client group
- Foster innovation and leverage new technologies
- Champion culture changes needed to pursue our Advanced Analytics strategy
- Build deep partnerships to do all of the above
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of variety and advanced analytic and research approaches, including: marketing mix models, price/promotion models, SEM, segmentation and forecasting
- Ability to independently manage research engagements from start to finish, delivering actionable insight within established timelines and budget
- Demonstrated ability in driving business impact through the application of data science and analytical techniques. Understanding and leveraging the connection between data structures, analytical methods, and business applications.
- Experience in marketing research or analytics; domain expertise in applying to CPG issues is a strong plus.
- Experience working in a consultative capacity (internal or external) is a strong plus
- Strong analytical thinking skills. Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required.
- Ability to interpret research findings for multiple audiences, extract insights and communicate effectively
- Strong organizational awareness and the ability to work effectively at multiple levels within an organization. Equally comfortable in discussing technical/analytical details with technical thought leaders as explaining technical subject matter with a non-technical audience, in particular, high-level executives.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent project management skills and have experience managing multiple work streams and projects at one time
- Building - and, when necessary, rebuilding -- and leading high performance teams. Proven track record of identifying and developing analytical talent and leading a team of quantitative personnel.
- Must have curiosity and love to ask the question 'why'
- 7+ years of experience in business consulting with an emphasis in the CPG industry
