Fractal Analytics - Data Scientist

Position Expectations:

- Data scientist would be expected to use advanced Statistics / Maths/Machine learning methodologies to find patterns in data that can be used to solve challenging business problems for Fortune 500 companies across the globe.

- The candidate would be required to have a working knowledge of the predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms.

Responsibilities:

Individual will perform as a contributing member in:

- Develop and implement models/methods/products in R, SAS, Python

- Understand business requirements and translate those into deliverable

- Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify alternative solutions

- Effectively communicate business, technical and product information at all levels

- Comfortable with working under time pressure

- Candidates should feel at home in a really challenging machine learning + statistics + programming environment

Critical Skills:

- Predictive modelling

- NLP, Sentiment Analysis, Text Mining

- Probability theory

- Numerical Methods (Finite Difference etc.). Control Variates. Monte Carlo Simulation

- Machine learning

- Knowledge of Statistics is compulsory
