Roles and Responsibilities:   - Data scientist would be expected to use advanced Statistics / Maths/Machine learning methodologies to find patterns in data that can be used to solve challenging business problems for Fortune 500 companies across the globe.   - The candidate would be required to have a working knowledge of the predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms.   Responsibilities:   Individual will perform as a contributing member in:   - Develop and implement models/methods/products in R, SAS, Python  - Understand business requirements and translate those into deliverable.   - Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify alternative solutions   - Effectively communicate business, technical and product information at all levels   - comfortable with working under time pressure.   - Candidates should feel at home in a really challenging machine learning + statistics + programming environment.   Knowledge of following is compulsory:   - Predictive modeling   - Probability theory   - Numerical Methods (Finite Difference etc.).
