Fractal Analytics - Consultant - Power BI & SQL - CPG/Retail Domain

Role Brief : 2-4 years of experience in Analytics/Visualizations & good project work experience using SQL & Power BI. CPG/Retail domain Experience in desirable.

Job Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Power BI dashboards

- Define visuals and key KPI's that enables speed to insight

- Understand and translate statistics to address client business problems

- Interface with client to understand their problems and work with the delivery team on solutions that address the client needs

- Develop & conceptualize sophisticated & innovative analytical solution and actionable insights with high client and business understanding

- Provide high-end consulting to clients to help them sharpen their business strategy by implementing analytical models that support the realization of business objectives

- Be the thought leader in the focus area, go to person for internal teams, generate knowledge sharing trends in the team, participate in developing white papers & share new trends in analytics with colleagues, evolve one's own opinion on the concepts

Desired Candidate :

Must Have :

- Strong experience with Power BI - Experienced in all aspects of Power BI, including establishing gateways, use of embedding, DAX and M

- Hands on experience deploying the PBI service to mid-market and/or enterprise scale organizations

- Hands on experience of data manipulation in SQL

- Proficient designing and implementing data models and data integration

- Ability to architect and design reporting solutions based on client needs

Good to Have :

- Understanding of the Microsoft technology stack (SSRS, Azure SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, Tabular Reporting Services etc.)

- Experience implementing REST API calls and authentication

- Experienced working with agile project management methodologies

- Design, develop, tune and maintain ETL packages using ETL tools such as SSIS and Informatica

Education :

- Preferably an MBA or an Engineer with relevant experience
