Foundry Head - Operations - Industrial Products Firm

We are looking for smart, energetic and matured Operations leaders, at mid management level, to operations end to end for a leading client in heavy engineering sector. The broad deliveries would include:

1. To maintain discipline and proper administration in the premise

2. To meet Target production per day, per week or month

3. Maintain proper QA process for the entire Unit to have minimal rejections

4. Must have in depth knowledge of Metallurgy for Steel Foundry

5. Should have proper experience and idea of steel grain structure, heat treatments, proper hardness level (product based)

6. Must be aware of different type of Electric Arc Furnaces and its routine maintenance

7. Should be conceptually clear about Preparation [For moulds etc]

8. Basic knowledge of chemical testing process and metal radiology

9. Have to be cost conscious while taking numbers of heats per day. Should be innovative in reducing energy cost

10. Prior experience of dealing with RDSO Officials would be added advantage

11. Should be able to control SCM and Logistics activities properly for the Unit through respective department leads

12. To ensure Foundry Safety measures and taking care of SHE

13. Need to use manpower suitably per shift to maintain production targets

14. Basic knowledge of finishing (mechanical aspects) Machining etc.

15. Must be proactive in reducing wastages of raw material and consumables for the Unit

16. Overall responsibility for P&L of the Unit
