Founder's Staff Role - Textile Manufacturing Firm (2-5 yrs)

The company is known for producing specialized products such as cordura, geo-synthetics and parasail fabrics of topnotch quality.
- The cater to armed forces - DRDO is one of their prominent clients. Besides, US and EU markets are their biggest customers purchasing material for parachutes, automotive and industrial applications. Through years of operations, the company has set up joint ventures and entered into long term agreements with many reputed companies in India and abroad.
- As Founder's staff, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and advising the company's founder on critical business decisions. You will be working closely with the founder, contribute to the development of high-impact strategies, and drive the company's growth and success.
What you will do :
- Collaborating with the founder to identify and prioritize strategic objectives and long-term goals.
- Conducting thorough research and analysis to gather insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions
- Developing comprehensive business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support strategic recommendations
- Evaluating potential growth opportunities, partnerships, and investment prospects to expand the company's market presence
- Assisting in the identification of new business ventures, markets, and innovative approaches to drive revenue and profitability
- Leading and managing cross-functional strategic projects from inception to execution, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Defining project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and effectively communicating progress to stakeholders
- Utilizing data-driven insights to provide actionable recommendations on business strategies, operational improvements, and performance optimization
- Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of strategic initiatives
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to gather insights, feedback, and expertise for informed decision-making
- Presenting strategic recommendations, findings, and progress updates to the founder and senior leadership
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market disruptions to drive innovative strategies
- Contributing to thought leadership by identifying opportunities for disruptive innovation and novel business models
- Acting as a trusted advisor to the founder, providing strategic counsel and facilitating critical discussions
- Assisting in preparing presentations, speeches, and materials for internal and external engagements
What you need to have :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, business development, or related roles, with a proven track record of strategic impact
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, creatively, and innovatively
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and levels
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving growth and innovation
- Experience working directly with founders, entrepreneurs, or senior executives is a plus
