Since opening our first store in 1995, Foodworld Supermarkets Pvt Ltd has been a pioneer in the retail industry in India. Foodworld Supermarkets operates under two banners, Foodworld (one stop solution for Food & FMCG products) & Health & Glow (Premier one sop for Cosmetics & Healthcare). Presently we operate 35 stores under the Foodworld banner in Bangalore & 118 stores under the Health & Glow Banner in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai & Cochin. We have a total of 1400 direct employees working with us. We have also ventured on the E-commerce platform under both Foodworld and Health & Glow.

Job Description

1. Achieve category sales, profit and income goals and objectives of assigned categories through monitoring trends within the market segments; developing strategies to grow the market share of assigned categories; and to plan strategies to counter competition.

2. Develop and implement a good inventory management process so that there is an optimum product mix that focuses on customers needs and the process achieves shrinkage reduction objective.

3. Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement and incremental sales to the stores.

4. Develop and implement placement and plannogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influence customer shopping behavior.

5. Develop and implement a competitive pricing strategy that delivers value to our customers.

6. Establish collaborative retailer/supplier relationships to maximize income/terms/discounts to improve sales and profitability of category.

7. Develop Monthly Category Analysis Report of the assigned categories.

8. Compile Monthly Income billings / updates to achieve optimal Buying income performance.

9. Work closely with the Retail Operations Area Managers to fully implement Category Management System and Space Management System in the Stores .
