Foodpanda - General Manager - Projects & New Initiatives

The position is to lead planning and engineering vertical for delivery in foodpanda. The position entails driving all key projects in FP and work with key stakeholders to execute them on-ground. The role is nucleus to operational budgeting, planning and project management

Key Responsibility:

- Lead planning vertical for delivery. Build roadmap for delivery for short and long term

- Design operations SOP and fine print for hubs and work with city operation to implement across cities

- Lead process improvement projects across cities and work with City Ops to ensure implementation

- Conduct process bench-marking/research on best practices in business outside of org. & ensure implementation with operations

- Lead all strategic projects for delivery working closely with finance, HR, operations, Vendor service, Sales and BI

- Demonstrate leadership trait to work closely on projects with city Ops and other function heads

- Own Delivery KPIs and display business acumen to instil vision in operation and lead initiatives to achieve it

- Display high level of pro-activeness, precision in channelling productivity & strategic thinking

- Identify potential projects from tech standpoint. Lead PDLC from business POV and ensure smooth execution working with City Ops

Skills Required:

- 7+ Years of experience preferably in Operations

- Strong business Acumen. MBA from tier-1 preferred

- Excellent communication skills

- Should have strong team management experience

- Proactive and entrepreneurial bent-of- mind

- Strong data Analytical skills
