Responsibilities:

Associate - Merchandiser should help growing category with a 360-degree visibility starting from Sourcing to Sales

- Range development

- Vendor identification & Training

- Finalizing commercial terms with the vendor

- Negotiating on buying prices

- Getting timely supplies

- Inventory optimization

- Associate should have a complete understanding of the Market Dynamics for the commodity he/she is handling

- Associate should have the understanding of the Product Design starting from Production to Consumer packaging

- Associate has to establish criticality of Benchmarking, Pricing Grid, Pricing & Promotion planning & understanding of Festive & other plans/Marketing

- Capability of data analysis to take appropriate required action on challenges

- Build scale into the category development function by collaborating with internal stakeholders (Vendor, Marketing team, Operation team etc.) to develop joint business plan.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 5 - 7 Years of relevant working experience in Sourcing, Merchandising.

- 5+ Years of experience in Vendor Management.

- 2 Years minimum experience should be in e-commerce.

- MBA preferred from a premier Institute.

- Excellent communication Skills (Verbal & Written).
