Department: Operations

Reporting to - Store Manager(GM)

Sub Departments:

- Fresh Food (Meat, Poultry, Sea Food, Dairy Frozen & Bakery products, Fresh fruits & Vegetables)
Dry Food (All FMCG products, edible oils, canned & packed foods, Commodities, beverages, wines & spirits)

Job Purpose:

Responsible for all the activities of the Floor which includes departments and sub departments

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for planning, administration and designing of business strategies to achieve the Targets set for the particular floor.

- Manage and lead a team, comprising of 30-40 people.

- Initiate new processes to improve customer satisfaction

- Setting up new systems for inventory planning and store promotion activities

- Managing the sales and distribution/ visibility in outlets

- Sales forecasting , stock planning and budgeting

- Planning sales promotional activities for awareness, faster off-takes for building brand image vis-à-vis new and existing products.

- Evaluating and analyzing the effectiveness of promotional activities planned.

- Co-ordinating with other functional teams to improve market share.

- Maintaining product hygiene at all levels by replacing defective stocks

Profile requirements:

Academic qualification Required - MBA / Post Graduate

Experience:

- Should have 3 to 7 years experience in sales / operations / marketing / trade marketing /retail

Skills Required:

Required

- Familiar with pricing / margins in the food & non food sector.

- Understanding of Operations

- Understanding of the supply chain.

- Customer orientation
