Job Description - GM/AVP/VP - Business Development - Reporting in Mumbai

We are a Tech-enabled Interior Design and Build venture that aims at disrupting Commercial Interior Design and Build globally. At the core of the venture is a path-breaking technology suite which creates a seamless internal and external stakeholder journey combining interior design, product supply and project management. The tech-suite uses virtual reality and AI and several other cutting-edge tech stacks.

Technology, process and supply chain capability form the corners of fulfilment and seamless delivery for Flipspaces clients looking to build their commercial space across India and USA. Our array of clients spans across leading Start-ups, Co-Working spaces, SMEs, MNCs and Builders across different asset classes of commercial spaces i.e. offices, restaurants, BFSI, Educational and Healthcare institutions. Flipspaces boasts of MNCs like TCS, BSH, Bennett Coleman Group, L&T, Schlumberger and fast growing startups like Nobroker, Razorpay, Zaggle, Openmoney and Playsimplegames as its clients.

Flipspaces is 8-years young and founded by pedigreed entrepreneurs (IIT-Alum) with successfully scaled ventures behind them. C. Profile Description:

- This is a leadership role where the chosen team member will be heading business-development pan-India driving quarterly and annual targets with a team of regional and territory heads supported by a team of design managers and other techno commercial team members.

- The team member will be a part of core leadership carving out the vision and path of the company along with other fellow members and the founders.

D. What you will be doing:

1. Servicing and closure of high profile leads related to commercial office space with typical transaction size from INR 50 lakhs to 50 Cr. Profile of clients ranges from Founder/CEO and/or leadership team members of Start-up, SMEs and HR/Admin of Large MNCs.

2. Furnishing and validation of leads through liasioning with Start-ups, Real Estate Consultants, Builders, Contractors, Property Search Platforms, Direct Property Seekers, Key Clients and other relevant platforms

3. Making and pitching ideas, mood boards and design-presentations custom fit to client's needs by coordinating with Design, Ops team for layouts, on-site conditions and actual measurements of site

4. Preparation of Detailed Quotations for clients and advising them till closure. Detailed understanding of itemised cost contributing to the client quotation

5. Internal knowledge transfer to operations and regular coordination with project management team to remain abreast of the progress

6. Ensure Client Satisfaction through and post the process of closure

7. Managing team of Territory and Regional Heads to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets and KPI.

8. Technology adoption and process improvement to drive efficiency at every step of Business Development process

E. What you must possess:

1. Strong experience (more than 10 years) of selling large ticket size solutions in B2B segment - Average ticket size between 2Cr- 100 Cr. Work experience in Design and Build, Construction and real estate category is a plus

2. Strong experience of managing a team with typical team size of 10-50 members from highly qualified backgrounds

3. Excellent communication, superior email writing skills and good/great design sense to ensure effective communication with very high profile clients like CEOs/ Founders etc

4. Excellent number crunching and data analysis skills including but not limited to superior skills on excel sheet and similar suites

5. Proven experience of generating repeat business from Key Clients and Account Management of large and super large corporate clients

6. Training and Development of down line team and regular reporting updates to be supplied to up lines whenever applicable

7. Proven experience of representing the company at key events, panel discussion, PR events etc

8. Ability to travel extensively Pan-India in order to close key deals and represent Flipspaces on vaiour Fora

F. Necessary Qualifications:

1. Graduate/Post Graduate from a Grade A institution. Alumni of IIT and/or IIM and similar colleges is a plus. Experience with high growth enterprise / start-ups is a plus

2. Qualified experience of growing a new product vertical/territory end to end and handling large accounts with typical size between 20Cr- 50Cr

3. Candidates having experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry will be preferred. Interior Design and Build will also be a plus

2. Reporting will be to one of the Co-Founders/Partners
