This is great opportunity to work in a high-impact and fundamental domain of education and disrupting online personalized learning. Through hand-on problem solving mode, understanding of technology, and data-based actions, the Engineering Manager should be able to lead disruption in K-12 learning space. Solution/Technical Design - Solution Architect - Tech Stack Choices with view on constraints and long term vision - Migration Strategy/Planning - Explore newer tech areas/solutions available for integration Project Management Project Plan/Timelines - Resource Planning - Tracking the release for timely completion - Coordinating with different teams (both inhouse and external) to get the release/sprint completed. Release/Delivery Quality - Ensuring Code is as per solution/tech design - Code Reviews as per standards - QA process Release/Migration without any downtime People Development - Lead the team on both tech and people aspects - Mentor team to grow in technical and interpersonal skills Skills Required : a. Technical - Should be able to work on any Tech Stack and Programming Language (PHP/JAVA/.NET/Python etc.) - Should have worked on both Front-End (client apps- Web and Mobile) and Backend (Services, Database) - Should have designed and worked on Scalable Solutions - Strong Programming Skills b. Leadership/People Management traits - Must be a leader by example, should be a role model for others - Passionate about people development; can identify people's strengths and help with development areas c. Project Management - Should have used Project Management Tools for effective planning and tracking - SCRUM Master
