Flipkart - Senior Manager I - Control Tower Grocery

- Develop data models in order to identify complex business problems

- Descriptive analytics visualizing all data pertinent to Supply Chain assets leading to holistic situational awareness

- Orchestration Analytics building an ongoing decision support system without human interventions with real time insights to make the supply chain more effective and efficient

- Engage the business to understand critical data requirements, and develop data capability by sourcing, modelling & visualizing operational data for insights & strategic programs

- Intake new enhancement requests and execute data development to ensure timely, accurate and automated delivery

- Execute data analysis and build sustainable scalable solutions based on insights captured from data

- Ability to experiment various approaches & develop advanced data models to simulate what-if scenarios

Required Skills

- Technical capabilities: Advanced knowledge of R/Python, SQL, Excel, any BI tool (Tableau/Qlikview/Power BI/Google Data Studio). Google Scripting experience is an added advantage + Logical understanding of algorithms generally is a plus

- Ability to understand and build complex queries on large unstructured databases

- Penchant for supply chain, a curiosity about numbers and persistence to work with data to tease out insights

- Critical thinking and reasoning - ability and willingness to identify the root cause of the problem for both known and unknown problems
