About the Role:

This Role requires managing Mother Hub (Sortation Centers) AND / OR Fulfillment Centre Operations. The incumbent would be managing Daily operations, people and key stakeholders ensuring that the management expectations are met and the operations run smoothly without ambiguity. This is people manager role and a team of Assistant managers & executives will be assigned. The role will report to Functional Head.

About the team:

Fulfillment Centers are warehouses which are used for storage & fulfillment of Customer orders for specific set of SKUs which are strategically placed to maximize speed of delivery & minimize Losses in Value chain. Motherhub (MH) acts as an aggregation and sortation center for moving shipments from Fulfilment centers (FC) and Seller clusters to Delivery hubs across the network.

You Are Responsible For:

- Leading a function for Sortation Centre AND/OR Fulfillment center Operations

- Monitor Operational Metrics and functional performance to identify any red flags in the process

- Work closely with upstream and downstream functions to ensure customer delight is ensured while being within the cos guard rails

- Work with Supply Chain Design teams to implement global supply chain initiatives within Flipkart.

- Drive continuous improvement and operationalize Business process Innovation.

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team to achieve higher goals.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following:

- Graduate (preferred - candidates from Tier I/II MBA institutes)

- 5 years+ of experience in Supply Chain/Manufacturing/Warehousing/Logistics Operations

- Should have managed a team of On-Rolls and Off rolls for 24/7 Shift.

- Experience in Sort center OR Fulfillment Center is preferred.

- Having strong knowledge of operational issues. High level of accountability and responsibility.

- Strong People Orientation and skills to manage a team

- Strong Stakeholder management skills

- Assertive and high bias for action & results

- Good People Skills, Team Management

- Good Analytical Skills to interpret complex and high volume of data
