About the Role :

Flipkart's Quick Grocery business (Hyperlocal Grocery) is poised for extraordinary growths over the next 5 years and is looking for a Pricing Manager to take on the responsibility of planning, designing, executing and continually improving the pricing strategy that is customized to serving the needs of Grocery-buying customers seeking speed and convenience. The role will also contribute strongly to the topline and bottomline of the category.

What you'll do:

Portfolio Management:

- Co-own the business metrics - both topline and bottomline related while refining processes to bridge gaps and leverage new opportunities

- Stay on top of numbers and trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on impact, internal capabilities, etc.

- Understand the competitive scenario, both offline and online and utilize these insights into better pricing strategies.

- Take ownership of brand-wise sales and deliver against targets

- Ensure the pricing execution during regular days and sales event days as per plan

- Deliver the monthly and annual targets defined for the category

- Pricing Strategy & Execution

- Design the pricing strategy for the category basis the objectives

- Execute and refine the pricing on a daily basis to seek pricing efficiency

- Work with the pricing product team to automate the pricing on rule-based and objective maximization mechanisms

- Keep a constant watch and take remedial measures with respect to inventory health via the liquidation framework

What you'll need:

- 2-4 years of work experience in analytical roles

- MBA from Tier 1 B-School

- Excellent planning skills with great short-term execution ability

- Target Oriented - being able to work towards objectives and targets on a daily basis

- Strong bias for action. Flipkart is a fast-paced company. The ability to execute promptly in a high-pressure situation is a highly valued trait

- Ability to work cohesively in a team and with cross-functional stakeholders is a high-weight criterion for selection
