Flipkart - Manager - Quality Assurance - Supplier Audit

Job Summary:

The position reports in to the Head (Quality Assurence) and is responsible for supplier audits to ensure that our suppliers have the Best In Class Quality systems, processes, manufacturing capabilities to produce quality products and ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Product Quality - 

- Work with Category & Sourcing teams to finalize product specifications

- Define test protocol for all categories / products (Use learning from existing product complaints/ defects)

- Identify right third party for all test requirements - Reliability tests/ type tests/ routine tests

- Create product documentations including drawings, Critical to Quality processes, Packaging data, banned substance list etc (for Finished Goods, key raw materials)

- Test product samples to ensure the design & manufacturing process meets Flipkart requirements

- Analyze product return rate - identify the key defect - conduct RCA - take corrective and preventive actions, use the same learning for new products

- Analyze customer satisfaction index - identify the main pain area for customer - take corrective and preventive actions use the same learning for new product

- Hands on experience in Supplier audit, Production process audits

- Understanding of product development process, Design Review,

- Knowledge of FMEA,

Desired skills and experience:

- Engineering background, with experience of working in manufacturing environments

- Previous experience of product testing and product documentation

- Ability to work with different materials/categories

- Strong leadership capabilities

- Self driven
